This year, the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) chose Berlin to celebrate its 30th anniversary and ICRC-Weyer was glad to be part of it as sponsor and through its EMWA member employees.
The 53rd Edition of the EMWA Conference turned out to be a remarkable success on all sides. Thanks to a wide selection of workshops, symposiums and expert seminar series (opened for professionals with various backgrounds and levels and offered both in presence and in hybrid mode) our employees could not only live a week of deep continuous learning and education, but also dive into a huge variety of industry fields and topics in line with our daily work (such as safety writing or writing for orphan medicinal products, just to mention a few).
Furthermore, after 2 years of distancing and periodical lockdowns, we did enjoy meeting again in person veteran EMWA members and new joiners from different countries and having the chance to share knowledge and ideas, to discover the best practices of different companies, to stay up to date with new trends, to improve our work listening to the experiences of other EMWA members and tutors, as well as to have the amazing opportunity to hear about topics of our interest directly from EMA reviewers.
The Berlin Spring Conference gave us an invaluable and rewarding experience, out of our expectations but for sure inside our future daily routine and best practices. We greet then this month, which is coming to an end, happy and grateful for the time spent, as well as eager to welcoming, supporting and joining the next week of professional growing, empowerment and knowledge sharing dedicated to medical writing and all its experts.
