About us

ICRC-Weyer was founded in 1993 and has continuously increased their service, growing from a specialist consultancy for biostatistics, medical writing and psychometrics into an integrated all-phase CRO with special focus but not limited to clinical and medical device studies to serve our clients in the most effective way.

Alongside the family-based well-run management there is a team of multidisciplinary specialists, who are experienced in a wide range of study phases and indications. Our team consists of biologists, biotechnologists, clinical research professionals, mathematicians, psychologists and biostatisticians among others. Our employees are the most important resource and therefore our driving force. They have a close relationship to the company, its goals and the ICRC-Weyer management.

Meet the team

Our team is encouraged to contribute to the company’s development and to actively increase their own potential in the economic interest of our company as well as for their personal evolvement.

We strive for an early recruitment of top-of-their-class future professionals to extend and form our team.

Prof. Dr. Geerd Weyer is the founder of ICRC-Weyer GmbH and currently acts as Principal Consultant. In this role, he shares his vast academic and industry experience and applies his core expertise in research methodology, study design, statistics and psychometrics to high-level client projects.

This is in direct continuation of his work when founding ICRC-Weyer in 1993, when he started out with consulting services to support clients from the pharmaceutical industry in their clinical study projects. Expanding from this basis, Prof. Weyer, jointly with his son Johann Daniel developed and led a team of clinical research professionals who provide a broad range of services in the domains of clinical and medical data management, biometrics, medical writing and pharmacovigilance.

After years of the company’s continuous growth under dual lead, Prof. Weyer handed over the management completely to Johann Daniel in 2019, but remains deeply involved in all aspects of the company’s business, both as Principal Consultant and as senior partner.
