Delegates Return With Positive Impressions

Our delegates have returned from this year’s ‘Hot Topics in Medical Devices’ by DGPharMed. Dr Ulrike Treichel and Britta Eichhorn represented ICRC-Weyer at the event and collected very good impressions:

‘The event ‘Hot Topics in Medical Devices’ in Munich was highly interesting. There were three symposia covering topics from cardiovascular medical devices to current topics in orthopedics (e.g. ATMPs, registries, navigation and PSI) to innovative medical devices for neuromodulation (e.g. evidence, investment, market access). The symposia showed which opportunities there are for bridging the development of innovative medical devices, including their realisation/assessment, and the peculiarities of testing and applying them in clinical research. Furthermore, in the keynote lecture, aspects of the new regulation on medical devices by the European Commission were discussed in more detail.’
